If you are searching for a romantic location for your Florida Beach wedding than Fort Desoto Park is for you. Fort Desoto Park is located on the West Coast of Florida; close to St. Pete Beach. Fort Desoto is an 900 acre island on the Gulf of Mexico. Fort Desoto is frequently named as one of the top beaches in Florida. Once you feel the soft, powder white sand beneath your feet it is easy to understand why. Fort Desoto has blue water, sand dunes, natural vegetation, and the most amazing sunsets you will ever see. It has also abundant parking, several restrooms, and numerous picnic pavilions that can be reserved for wedding receptions.
(Please note: There is a permit fee of $160.50 that must be paid to hold a wedding on this beach. The couple is responsible for this fee. We will file the permit for you, and will notify you once we receive it back. We will then tell you when your payment is due and acceptable forms of payment.)

St. Pete Beach is a relaxing and quiet town located on the West Coast of Central Florida. If you would like your Florida Beach Wedding to be romantic and laid back then you may wish to consider St. Pete Beach. The blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, white sands, and amazing sunsets make for a breath-taking backdrop for your Florida Beach Wedding.
St. Pete Beach is a laid back town. You can enjoy a stroll down Gulf Boulevard, eat at one of the many local restaurants, or travel into the town of St. Petersburg to experience some cultural activities. You could also catch a Tampa Bay Rays baseball game at the Tropicana Field. But St. Pete is mostly known for relaxing on the beach, playing in the warm water of the Gulf, or enjoying the pool at your hotel.
There are many hotels to choose from for your stay in St. Pete Beach. There are also condos in the area that can be booked. The majority of accommodations are located directly on the beach. This makes access to St. Pete Beach very easy.
St. Pete Beach is close to Tampa and Orlando. If you are looking for adventure you may wish to take a short trip into these cities. St. Pete Beach is also close to two major cruise ship terminals, and the Tampa International Airport.
